Uwe is a process engineer with more than 25 years of experience in project finance, corporate finance, renewable energies, and shipping. He started his career at the Vattenfall subsidiary VASA Energy as project manager, controller of decentralized and renewable energy projects, and finally as head of controlling. In 2000, Uwe joined KPMG Transaction Services, where he conducted due diligence projects in connection with international M&A projects. In 2007, Uwe joined Rickmers Group as Director Business Development and was – alongside overseeing finance projects with Private Equity partners and banks – responsible for the development of an offshore wind startup. Uwe worked as an advisor focusing on Corporate Finance and Controlling from 2014, advising his clients on due diligence, finance projects, and the sale of companies. In January 2018, Uwe accepted the role as interim Head of Finance and Controlling for an HR advisory firm. Uwe joined GRS.Invest+Finance in May 2020 and is responsible for all activities in Project and Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions. Uwe maintains a vast network in the world of finance, shipping, and renewables.
