Philippe Schönefeld is a graduate of industrial engineering and a graduate (UAS) in International Transport management. He studied business management with a focus on the marine industry at the Universities of Applied Sciences in Elsfleth, Germany, and Vlissingen, The Netherlands.

Philippe’s professional career started at the Rickmers Shipping Company in Hamburg, where he was ultimately responsible for business development and ship brokerage activities in offshore wind projects. Philippe has a widespread network of partners within the offshore wind industry and numerous contacts with major utility companies, wind turbine manufacturers, project developers, and offshore-related service providers.
